Description of Accommodation
Charming gîte rated 3 ears of corn (French gîte system of rating from 1 to 5), situated in a typically Alsatian village. Bergheim, a lovely wine-producing town on the Route des Vins (Wine Route), can be found amongst the most well preserved and typical towns of Alsace. This mediaeval rural town has managed to conserve fascinating remains of its ancient fortified walls, beautiful houses as well as red sandstone Gothic church. From Bergheim the major tourist sites are all at close distance: Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr, Colmar, Kaysersberg, Strasbourg, Mulhouse, Freiburg, Bâle,…
The gîte is fully equipped and consists of a large living area (kitchen and open lounge) equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, glass-ceramic cook top, coffee pot, toaster, kettle, washing machine, dishwasher and all the necessary cutlery and kitchen utensils.
The lounge contains two leather couches, a flat-screen satellite television, a hi-fi system and a Divx player. A fold-away wall bed found to the side of the lounge can be turned into an extra bed for two people.
The private two-person bedroom is equipped with wardrobe, bedside table with radio alarm clock and a small dresser with mirror.
The toilet is separate. The bathroom consists of a shower, a washbasin, a small cabinet with hair-dryer and a towel-warmer.
The gîte has an outside private courtyard with a charcoal barbecue and garden furniture with umbrella. Cars can be parked in the courtyard. The gîte is equipped with Wi-fi. The maximum capacity is 4 people.
Hiring of sheets (10 euros/bed) and cleaning (30 euros) are optional. Bath towels are not supplied.
